Artist

Gabe Anderson spent the summer of 2012 volunteering at Indian Creek Nature Center, helping restore the prairies and woodlands. He was fascinated by the depth of color and detail the natural world reveals when you immerse yourself in it, and Hunting Red was born. His fascination with fish and life underwater led to What Do Fish Do When it Floods in 2018. Gabe graduated with a degree in biology from George Mason University in 2021 and now works as the Trail Technician at the Nature Center.
